Challenge

SparkFit was just getting started. Their founders had a clear vision for the kind of movement community they wanted to build, but they needed a brand that could express it. The identity needed to feel energetic and grounded, welcoming and strong, and flexible enough to show up in signage, swag, digital channels, and across the walls of the gym itself.

Strategic Initiatives

This brand wasn’t built around a logo. It was built around a feeling. The goal was to create a system that could scale with SparkFit’s community and stay authentic to the way people felt when they showed up—strong, supported, and connected.

01

Design a mark that balances strength and energy

The Spark icon sits at the center of the brand. It represents both a literal burst of energy and a more abstract sense of internal ignition. The supporting typography and layout system helped that spark feel grounded and purposeful.

02

Build a system that works in motion

From signage and apparel to posters and class passes, I designed a toolkit that worked across materials and mediums. Every element was built to be applied easily while staying true to the core system.

03

Bring the brand into physical space

We translated the identity into the built environment with wayfinding, wall graphics, and storefront signage that introduced the brand to the neighborhood and created a sense of belonging for members walking through the doors.

04

Design a website that reflects the mission

The website introduced the SparkFit brand online with clear service offerings, introductory messaging, and calls to action that invited people into the community.
